Colbert | Sloane Square
Colbert in Sloane Square is one of those London restaurants that feels as if it’s been there for a hundred years but is actually pretty new. It’s is sensibly priced, has truly excellent food and really friendly service. It’s our go-to restaurant in Chelsea whether we are looking for an evening meal, a light lunch or just a quick coffee. It’s also great for a late-night meal after falling out of the Royal Court Theatre which is next door
Dogs are allowed if you eat in the bar and it’s super-cute to see your dog have his water poured into a posh bowl from a jug filled with ice by a waiter with a napkin over his sleeve. It’s so nice when your dog gets the same level or service as you.
Our favourite dishes are the croque madame, which is just incredible, and the steak hache’. The rose wine is the perfect accompaniment.
