Jikoni | Marylebone

Honey & Co Mediterranean Restaurant in Fitzrovia London

Jikoni in Marylebone is the prettiest restaurant in town. With its pale pink walls, Indian cotton tablecloths and patterned china plates it’s the perfect place for lunch with your interiors-loving girlfriends.

Owned by Gordon Ramsay protégée Ravinder Bhogal, Jikoni is a cheerful jumble of her Punjabi heritage, her childhood spent in Kenya and British cuisine. Think Venison Scotch Eggs, Sweet Potato Bhel and the delightfully named Pondicherry Prawn Puffs.

But really the stars of the show are the puddings which will do a happy dance all over your tastebuds. We haven’t been able to stop thinking about the Banana Cake with Miso Butterscotch, Ovaltine Kulfi and Peanut Brittle since we left.
