The Bell at Sapperton | Cotswolds
The dedicated horse parking outside the Bell gives you an idea of the country charm awaiting you in this gorgeous Cotswolds pub.
The interior is inn-perfect, modernised to just the right degree. There are cosy corners, settles and window seats and the fires are lit on any day with even the slightest of chills. The food is good and the atmosphere buzzy.
Sapperton itself is a pretty, unspoilt working village seemingly free from the Range Rovers and abundance of Cotswold Green found in the North Cotswolds. Think Land Rover Defender rather than Range Rover Sport and people trotting by on horseback to stop for a drink at the pub.
