              About Volga Linen

We first discovered Volga Linen when we stayed at the Wild Rabbit in Kingham and knew it was the only linen bedding we wanted to stock.

On a trip to Russia to trace her grandmother’s family, Theresa Tollemache stumbled across an ancient industry steeped in the traditions of weaving and embroidery. Mills along the Volga were producing flax products for everything from agricultural sacks to fine damasks for the Kremlin.

After her visit, Theresa started importing Russian linens to the UK and today Volga Linen produces the finest quality Russian and European linens with exquisite embroidery and we are thrilled to be stocking them on Bleak House.
